An 8km Guided Walk along parts of the Mid Clare Way taking in historical sites  and monuments with fantastic views over the Estuary.

This Guided Walk will leave Newmarket-on-Fergus (Car park across from the Weavers Inn) and head towards Mooghaun Hillfort, which dates from the late Bronze Age and will also take the walker past the Dromoland Estate. The walk follow quite roads with some gentle inclines.

Please wear suitable walking shoes, rain gear and bring water and a snack.There will be an optional refreshment stop in Newmarket-on-Fergus on our return.

All walks are free of charge with an optional donation.
All monies raised will go towards the future maintenance and upkeep of the East Clare Way & the Mid Clare Way walking routes.
This walk in primarily for Active Agers (Over 50’s) but all are welcome.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
