The Great Lake Swim

New for 2023! The historical village of Mountshannon in East Clare is the venue for this lake swimming event. Swimming in Lough Derg, one of Ireland’s biggest lakes, will be a very special experience. With small islands strewn with ancient ruins dotting the lake, you will find yourself immersed in this mystical place. 

This swim offers three distances 3.9km | 2km | 750m in a circular route starting and finishing on the lakeshore.

The Great Lake Swim will take place on July 22nd.
