Don is one of the most powerful and unique singer/songwriters to emerge on the Irish Folk Scene in the past decade. He hails from Galway City and the clarity and richness of his voice and the emotion with which he delivers his songs has been compared with the best ballad singers that Ireland has ever produced. Singer and guitar player Kate Purcell hails from Feakle originally but migrated to Tulla in more recent years. Growing up with musicians such as, fiddle virtuoso Martin Hayes as her neighbour, her early influences were mainly Irish Folk, but she also developed a love for contemporary styles particularly a blend of Blues and American Country. With her gorgeous voice, she has shared the stage with notable top acts including Cherish the Ladies, Lunása, Mairin Fahy and The 4 of Us, touring Ireland, Holland, England and the USA.
