Guided Walk – O’Brien’s Bridge

Our next guided walk will take place on Thursday 9th February at 11am in O'Brien's Bridge - it is a 7km loop. 

We will start from the children's playground in the village (behind the coffee shop EIRCODE: V94 KC8A) - there is free parking here and also along the street. The walk will take us along a riverside path to Errinagh Bridge where we have a short climb up to the Shannon headrace, which will bring us back to the start point. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU WEAR HIKING BOOTS OR GOOD WATERPROOF WALKING SHOES AS WE WILL BE WALKING ON GRASS ALONG THE HEADRACE. There is also sheep grazing so there will be 💩. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

There is a small coffee shop (seating about 10 people) in the village but feel free to bring your own refreshments.
