Tourism East Clare extends a warm invitation to new members to join our award-winning tourism network. As proud recipients of the prestigious Pride of Place Award in the category of Community Tourism in 2023, Tourism East Clare embarks on an exciting new chapter. Join us as we continue to celebrate and build upon our achievements, together shaping the future of tourism in East Clare and beyond.

This recognition of the Pride of Place award not only validates the tireless efforts and dedication of the network’s members but also serves as a testament to the collective impact our members have on the local community and the tourism sector at large. This award acknowledges our network’s role in fostering a sense of community pride and belonging, as well as promoting cultural heritage and environmental stewardship.

Who Can Become A Member

New members can include businesses, groups, or organisations, that operate in the East Clare region (the Killaloe Municipal District) and provide a tourism-related service under one, or more, of the following categories:

  • Accommodation (Failte Ireland approved only);
  • Attractions & Activities;
  • Festivals & Events;
  • Health & Wellness;
  • Water Activities;
  • Food & Drink;
  • Retail;
  • Walking & Hiking;
  • Guided Tours.

Membership Benefits

  • An advert/listing on our website.
  • Blog(s) on our website of your business – (suggestions include the announcement of a new service, new menu, special offers, etc.)
  • Priority inclusion on our Events Database and Email Newsletter.
  • Social media posts across the Visit East Clare social media channels.
  • Opportunity to participate in Wheel of the Year celebrations – Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasadh & Samhain, and inclusion in regional marketing and promotion. 
  • Expert assistance with the promotion of your business across public relations, marketing, and social media.
  • Opportunities for partnership across the network.
  • Regular member-only emails highlighting opportunities, courses, grants, and member-only resources.

Cost of Becoming a Member

Our membership for the remainder of 2024, is:

  • €50 for voluntary and non-commercial organisations;
  • €100 for commercial businesses and organisations.

This money goes towards the continued promotion of the network, its members, and the East Clare region. It also allows the network to facilitate events as part of our new Wheel of the Year Festival.

How To Become A Member

To become a member, please complete this Online Form expressing your interest and we will send you an invoice via Xero. Once this is completed, we will be in touch regarding creating your website listing.
